Deburring
Microscopic Deburring is the process of removing burrs from parts while looking under a high powered microscope. Burrs that are so small they cannot be detected with the naked eye can easily be removed using this method. The microscope is also used to inspect small parts if required by our customers.
Hand Deburring: Various tools are used to remove burrs from parts.
Speed Lathes: Round parts are held by a collet in a special lathe which spins the parts while the operator applies an abrasive material to remove burrs.
Belt Sanders: Large burrs are removed using belts of various grits depending on the material size and the location of the burrs.
Automatic Finishing Machines: Parts are placed in fixtures and move under a wheel which removes burrs as well as creating specific finishes on parts. We have 13 automatic machines.
